This Gaza refused Israel`s control; and now Israel wants to wash its hands off it. Israel has to live with what it did; that`s how things go. And the path is simple and clear. Gaza does not want any alien rulers; only a democratically elected Palestinian rulers. And, guess what? Egypt does not wish to rule over Gaza.
In the article it says that Palestinians commemorate the Nakba and it gives it the wrong meaning; the establishment of Israel. The Nakba actually is about the mass ethnic cleansing of Palestinians from their land, which then became the state of Israel. Please check your own historians if you do not believe me. |
