Title:More Libel Against Poles

This article is offensive in all regards. It sounds as though the Education Minister Tamir herself needs some schooling. The Polish nation has nothing to apologize for to our people and nobody with any knowledge would suggest that the Poles were even an indirect force "behind the annihilation." The Poles are not trying to improve their historical image, but rather are trying to set the record straight with an recalcitrant brand of Jews hell bent on sullying their good name, both as historical friends of our people, and as fellow victims of the Germans/Nazis. The Education Ministry need not paint "a balance picture," nor "refrain from portraying the Polish as the cause of the Holocaust," if historical truths is their currency. To say "we cannot sidestep the fact that many of the camps were in Poland ...," is to invoke what is fast becoming a modern day libel against the Polish people.
