There`s a neat circularity to slanders about Israel leaking US secrets. There apparently is no actual evidence for such stories, nor even citations. "And yet how could one expect these," some might say, "Since showing the evidence might endanger US secrecy further..."
-- And those who are told they`ve gotten the inside skinny feel especially privileged, and that sense of specialness distracts from any skepticism about the slander in the first place.
There`ve been plenty of spies against the US, South Koreans, French, even British. And regrettably, two known to have spied for Israel. But the worst and most damaging spies in the US were larcenous, murderous all-American types: Ames, Nicholson, Hanssen, Walker, Wilson.
As far as Israel leaking secrets the US has officially shared, haven`t seen any evidence of this. |
