| So let`s say Hizbollah took over. Would this stop the conflict in Lebanon? Of course not. This is a Shiite vs Sunni war. Both Muslim sects have seething hatred for each other - just look at Iraq - and a Hizbollah government would find itself battling in the streets with Sunni militias. In other words, the roles would be reversed but the fighting would continue. No question the Muslims hate Israel, but they hate each other just as much. |
