When Muslims murder thousands of people in Darfur, it is buried on page 14 of the newspapers here. If a Palestinian child dies it makes the international news. It takes six dead Israeli children to make headlines here.
In a few days the world will forget this quake but the Chinese people will be remembering it for years.
My deepest regret is that so many people died. If a quake had to take place, and people die; why couldn`t it have taken place in Teheran and only killed a single person (Amadinejad)? |
