So Israel will have to launch a major operation in the West Bank to uproot Hamas once and for all. Only to find, of course, that Hamas are now operating from across the border in Egypt, Jordan and Lebanon....... Coz that`s the unfortunate thing that happens when you decide that and easiest way to solve your problem is to hit it over the head with your Big Stick: that head tends to see the stick coming, and doesn`t actually, you know, stay still while you take a swing at it. The better ones get outta the way, and even manage a kick or two in your wobbly bits before you have time to grunt a neanderthal "Huh? Whichwaydidtheygo???" |
