Title:ADVICE FOR ABU QUISLING ABBAS

Abbas should have asked Bush if he wanted to go down in history not as the President who brought about a two-state peace, but as the President who destroyed the chance of such a peace. He should have added that he himself would not go down in history as betrayer of the Palestinian people.

He should then have said to Bush that when he returned to Palestine, he and other Palestinian leaders would discuss very seriously whether to disband the Palestinian Authority and turn all responsibility back to Israel.

And, he should have said to Bush, with a very serious face, that the United States should not be surprised if the Palestinian Authority ceases existence within a month.

Bush only understands toughness. Looking at US foreign policy for the past 7 years, that should be obvious. Is Abbas so blind? Eyeless in the West Bank as well as in Gaza? A weakling like Abbas, above all a Quisling, will never get anything from George Bush except contempt.
