| The fact that Hizbollah did not control Lebanon did not prevent the IAF from waging savage attacks against all of Lebanon during the Second Lebanon War. Those attacks, destroying bridges, gas stations, dairy farms, and produce markets did nothing to harm Hisbollah, did wonder`s for it`s status in Lebanon. The Second Lebanon War was a god-send for Hizbollah, a gift from God sent by the IDF. But Amnon Lipkin-Shahak seems to have not learned the lesson. With the ever brutal - and thus helpful - opposition of Israel, Hizbollah might just become the most important power in Lebanon. I think it would be wise for Israel third and fourth generations to do a little investigating of the pre-history of Israel. How was it that the British came to alienate the majority of Palestinian Jews in the years between 1940 and 1948? |
