Reports of the IDF invading homes and herding the occupants (women and children) into a room while they use the home as a base of operation is, of course, hardly news. It is also an obvious case of using the residents as human shield as clearly militants would be reluctant to attack the dwelling knowing there are likely women and children inside. This could not be disputed by any rational person.
While this particular case is notably gruesome given the death of the Mother as the IDF gained entry it is unfortunatly otherwise unremarkable from the perspective of the policy of utilizing defenseless women and children as human shields. |
