| You can tell a lot about the nature of a people by the way in which their amny occupies another nation. America has gained a black eye from Abu Graibs and other scandals, but more often the American occupying forces try to connect with the people by building and repairing schools, community centers, roads, etc. Additionally, when the American forces accidently kill civilians, they have this guy with a bag of money right behind paying off the families of the slain. Israel, on the other hand, loots, abuses, and kills as their normal behavior. It is no wonder that they have rocks thrown at them. Even with the certainty that the IDF tries to kill rock throwers, this is an indication of how much hate the IDF has earned in the territories. |
