Common criminals loot and steal. Professional soldiers respect the rights of the population under occupation - whether at checkpoints or in their own homes. When the soldier commits criminal acts or acts against human rights he shames his country.
Palestinians have been resisting occupation of their land for 60 years and have a right to do so. Neither side has the right to target innocent civilians. Palestinians have the right to target the occupying army just as the IDF seems to think it has the right to target resistance fighters. |
