Actually, Hezbollah did win this round and Israel and the US lost. This emtire crisis still smells like a set up when the Siniora government tried to end the communications network amd remove from office the Lebanese army officer in charge of the airport due to supposed Hezbollah sympathies. Considering the fact that Hezbollah was the only military force in Lebanon which stood up to the Israeli invasion and bombing two years ago, the Siniora government was insane to think that they would unilaterally disarm and leave Lebanon defenseless. Any Lebanese can see, with Israel overflying Lebanon every other day, that Hezbollah is a necessary nationalistic defensive force. If the US did not supply the Lebanese army with weapons due to Israeli pressure, the Siniora government has been proven utterly worthless to the Lebanese, as were US promises of assistance. Also, you will notice in other news reports that Hezbollah has turned all properties taken by military means over to Lebanese army.
