I see no inconvenience, except that Jerusalem should stay united under Israeli rule. Jerusalem is already Israel`s capital, and it`s out of the question to give any of it away. It would be a disgust for any country to give away and share a capital.
As for that western Negev part, for Israel`s security it`s better if it stays under it`s control as well. There are some military outposts there that are used to survey the Egyptian border, and Gaza as well.
Also, before Israel let`s the Palestinians be "autonomous", they should be able to control their own population and stop any terrorist who wants to infiltrate Israel. Right now, they are doing an awful job and I don`t see peace coming any time soon. |
