| The American government gives Israel 3 billion dollars each year to buy weapons. In the last war in Lebanon, Israel used these weapons freely over the whole of Lebanon, killing about 1000 civilians and doing billions in damage. America gave Israel the go ahead to continue this attack. After it was over, America paid many millions to clean up the mess Israel left in Lebanon and paid hundreds of millions more to rebuild the destroyed infrastructure. Any government that considers this policy wise is not qualified to advise Iran and Syria how to choose whom they will support. Iran and Syria have done nothing nearly as insane as the American policy in Lebanon. As long as America continues to interfere in Lebanese politics, they are not priveleged to criticize others for the same thing. |
