Every country, even the US itself, is economically dependent on other countries - its called globalisation and has been to Israel`s great advantage.
Israel could survive without US military aid - after all it would only increase its % of GDP on defence by a few percent to where it was less than a decade ago and it survived then.
The EU and the US rely on Israeli technology so are unlikely to boycott oven without the US`s veto. Any attempt at sanctions would be completely ineffective because they would be comprehensively breached by Diaspora Jewry and Israeli hi-tech products are easy to get past border checks. |
