Although I am sincerely sorry for the suffering of the 700,000 Palestinians who were displaced during the war, please note that this happened as a result of the unanimous original Arab decision to destroy Israel as soon as it was created by the UN in 1949. Had the Palestinians and the Arabs in general recognized Israel in the 1949 borders, this kind of suffering would not have happened to the Palestinian refugees. But let me ask you a question: As you know, there are many Jews who sincerely understand the suffering of the Palestinian refugees, how many Arabs have any sympathy for the 600,000 Mizrahi Jews who were forced to leave Arab countries and escape to Israel after the wave of discrimination that started against the Jews in Arab countries? With the exception of Morocco, in virtually all Arab countries Jews had less rights than Arabs living in Israel (why?) Turkey was also relatively fair to Jews overall (Turkey is not an Arab country but overwhelmingly Muslim.)
