| If Olmert falls there must be elections. Olmert was installed after Sharon succumbed to his stroke. If Livni is likewise installed from Kadima, that will be 2 Prime Ministers in a row that the people did not vote for. That is drifting too far from the people`s mandate. Polls show that the people want elections, they are sick of Kadima`s broken policies, and they want Bibi Netanyahu. To try to escape the people`s verdict through legal maneuvers is to subvert Israel`s democracy. |
