| Fahrenheit 451 is the temperature at which books burn, according to Ray Bradbury`s story. The kind of ignorance that assumes you can kill thought and knowledge by burning the books in which they are contained is the kind of ignorance that kills people for thinking the thoughts contained in the books, not understanding that an idea, once mooted, can have a home in many people`s minds and can mutate, change and grow without being written down and can`t be uprooted until a stronger idea prevails. |
