I agree that this Stephan Kramer should mind his own business. It is perfectly normal and acceptable for a country to honor its soldiers.
I think Stephan Kramer and the Central Council of Jews are playing with fire. The Holocaust was not a random event, but an expression of the deep-seated hatred of Jews that unfortunately still exists in many parts of Europe. People quieted down somewhat after the Holocaust out of embarassment, but Stephan Kramer is deluding himself if he really thinks he belongs to German society. I am sure he is seen as a guest and an ungrateful one by many segments of German society, and running an organization called "The Central Council for Jews in Germany" calls to mind all kinds of negative stereotypes of Jewish organizations conspiring to control the world.
Stephan Kramer should stop pushing Germans` patience, or he could find himself fleeing for his life when the right-wing backlash sweeps the country. |
