If getting away with the loss of on third of territory, 15 million displaced persons, millions of killed civilians is getting away lightly, one must suppose that your understanding of receiving just punishment would be the physical extermination of Germans - final solution Jewish-style.
But frankly speaking, your frustration is not about getting away lightly, but about seeing Germany again standing as a properous, democratic, respected country. What vexes you is the denial of watching us in a state of constant, non-ending punishment. We frustrated your design for post-war Germany and that is unforgivable. |
