That is just basic human psychology: "we" are the good ones, so anything bad that happens on our side of the fence must be a rare exception. "They", on the other hand, are satanic demons, so obviously nothing good can ever be expected from them.
Since both sides employ the same perverted "logic", there is no room for cooperation and every action of either side seems to re-affirm the original presumption.
What would be needed to break that viscious circle is to "step out of the system", and to discard any foolish notion of "us and them". Might be too much to ask for from a (self-)RIGHTEOUS person, though. |
