This news must be shocking both to Drukman and to those thousands of converted Jews.
It surprises me that there is no case by case evaluation of the converts, since I do believe that there also are among them sincere converts, who genuinely love Judaism and live accordingly. To invalidate their conversions is therefore not doing justice to them. The Rabbis
should bear on mind WHOM we serve. Love for G-D and love for our fellowman cannot be separated from each other acc. to Judaism. |
