| It is important to remember one thing...ALL prosecutions of public officials are simply political harrassment and not based on any attempt to "clear out the stables" or "find justice". That is not to say that Olmert isn`t guilty of anything. ( I myself despise Olmert-the head-basher of kids at Amona). However we always hear the same things from the (illegal) leaks by the police "very serious allegations...will lead to resignation...outrage...disgust...arrogance". History has shown these police leaks are always grossly exaggerated...that is why Katsav is fighting back as well. There is no evidence in his case, and all Olmert did was "help friends", which although may be unethical, but is no different than what all the rest of the politicians do. |
