| You can make your own judgment about Austria, but I would welcome if you would research History first: Hitler was born in Austria, Braunau. He didn`t find much resonance in Austria with his anti semetic and Jewish conspiracy crap, was soon prosecuted, jailed and along the way even exiled and his citizenship annulled. He genuinely hated Austria, and was glad that his beloved Germany accepted him as a soldier for which he was willing to die. SS, NSDAP a.s.o. were forbidden in Austria. Austrias army was decimated by the Soviets. Some areas of Austria tried to be annexed by Switzerland when Nazi-Germany`s next move became transparent. The claim that Austria welcomed Germany with open arms was part of the Nazi propaganda and is about as justified as "The eternal jew". That claim also wouldn`t make sense from any view you look at it. |
