| The Indians actually owned the land and were decimated by the settlers. The Pals never had a nation on this land and most migrated from Arab countries once the Jews started buying property in Eretz Israel. That doesn`t mean that they should lose their property rights but these landowners don`t have a right to their own state. They should either accept Israeli rule, as many do, or be compensated for surrendering their deeds and purchase a peaceful home among their brethern. If they have no evidence that the property ever belonged to their individual families, they should not expect anything. That is no more or less than the Indians got. Aztec Indians weren`t compensated for losing their land in Mexico and American Indians aren`t compensated for losing the entire US. They only get rights to the parts they occupied after the wars or the areas where they prove history. Israel defeated the Arabs and "to the victor go the spoils of war." Why give it to a greater Arabia. |
