Any nation that abhors racism should boycott this conference, wherever it may be held, because it`s pro-racism, not anti racism. As proof here are but a few examples from the last conference in Durban: the Arab Lawyers Union handed out pamphlets filled with grotesque caricatures of hook-nosed Jews depicted as Nazis with pots of money nearby; fliers were distributed with a photo of Hitler and the following question: "What if Hitler had won? There would be no Israel;in a Palestinian-led march a placard was held reading "Hitler Should Have Finished the Job."; copies of "The Protocols of the Elders of Zion" was being sold on the conference floor.
This conference was so racist even major human rights organizations such as Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch, Lawyers for Human Rights, and Physicians for Human Rights condemned the antisemitic events at this conference.
Obviously South Africa doesn`t want to make the same mistake again and host racism on their soil. Thank you S.A.! |
