| Why "must" a deal be reached by year`s end? Artificial deadlines like this only provide a rationale to squeeze Israel for more concessions, since the Palestinians are stubbornly sticking to their stand. There`s been no end of incitement to terror, no disbanding of militant groups or punishment of those who commit terror, no rule of law, no acceptance of Israel as the Jewish homeland, no abandonment of the right of return. The Palestinians aren`t entitled to a deal certain, never mind a state. |
