| Although the concerts issue is more plitical than halachic, the Indian hair issue was indeed investigated by among others Dayan Dunner of London`s Orthodox Union Beth Din. Although Hindu theologians in the States said the hair was not an `offering` Indians on the spot confirmed that THEY viewed the hair as an offering to their gods. On this basis, the hair was deemed tainted by Avoda Zara. Historically many leading Rabbis have objected to human hair wigs generally, not only hair from Avoda Zara. |
