Yes, Israel should dump the US as soon as possible and go its own way. Israel can survive on its own quite nicely without the US, though it will not survive as anything other than an internationally sanctioned pariah. Certainly the US will be much better off without the Israeli yoke around its neck. Perhaps the US would revert to the fairmindedness as was exhibited when the French, British and Israelis invaded Egypt, and the US said, absolutely not.
