Jimmy Carter is a good man and a friend of the Jewish people and Israel. He deserves a public apology.
Had I been successful in my try for the GOP nomination and won the White House I`d be talking to Hamas, Hizbollah and Iran. Talking doesn`t mean surrendering. My guess is just showing them proper respect would go along way to calming them down and encouraging moderate elements.
I say for nth + 1 time on this blog relentless diplomatic efforts kept us safe in the Cold War until the Soviets imploded. Radical Islam, like the Soviets, is inherently unstable. Time is on our side. We`ll buy that time by talking to our adversaries. |
