| The anti-semitic innuendo of this post actually shows why Israel`s spying program was such a bad idea. Whatever the immediate benefits, they cannot have outweighed the long-term damage to Israel`s image in the US and the image of those who would support her. I`m not one of these, so this doesn`t bother me at all, but still... It was remarkably short-sighted. Sort of like seducing the boss`s teen-age daughter. Feels good at the time, but not necessarily a good idea in the long run. |
