What strikes me from this article is the quote that Israel doesnt want to `embarrass` the Assad regime any further.

What on earth is that about? Its clear that Syria is a chicken when it comes to fighting its own wars, and relies on others to do that for it. Furthermore, it openly wants peace with ISrael whilst at the same time if any Lebanese mentioned this claim the whole world would come falling down.

Its clear that Israel can take out the Assad regime at any time? What is the reason that it doesnt do it? Afraid of who the next regime will be? You have khadami waiting patiently. Taking out Assad and replacing him with a moderate Sunni dominated regime weakens, Hisbullah and Iran, forces Meshaal to leave and breaks the main link in the terror network. Why is Israel so afraid?
