| "the Syrians may now reconsider and decide to retaliate against Israel in some way." It could be that when he says `retaliate` , Harel may be thinking of open war . Syria knows that an open war against Israel would lead to a Syria defeat `AGAIN` . But Harel added `in some way` , Harel may be thinking of terror , After the Sep.06-07 strike , Syria barked and threatened with "Mukawamat" as retaliation . Would Harel characterize the PLO-PA terror escalation as a Syria retaliation . ? Or would Harel deny at all the PLO-PA terror escalation as a Syria retaliation in order to "avoid embarrassing Assad unnecessarily" ? And that the Sep.06-07 strike supposedly deterred Syria from "some" `Mukawamat` "way". Is Dhimmi Harel engaging in `appeasement` , ? Or would tensions escalation benefit Israel ? |
