M: "The Less You Say, the Better !" M: "You know what there is to gain by blabbing?" M: "Nothing good plus Unintended Consequences."
You do know, don`t you MIKE, that this was an attack by one member state of the UN upon the soil of another member state of the UN.
Normally one would expect that when you do something like that then you should, you know, *explain* yourself.
Otherwise, naturally, people might come to suspect that Israel did it For No Good Reason.
And you really do need to explain why *that* attack was not actually an act of aggression, but an act of self-defence, bcause it is only the latter that is permissible under International Law.
And it`s not just good manners to stand up and explain your actions: I`m look in at Article 51 of the UN Charter, and it plainly says: "Measures taken by Members in the exercise of this right of self-defence shall be immediately reported to the Security Council"
Did Israel make any such report, MIKE? |
