| No "Palestinian State" plan is going anywhere until the Palestinian Arabs clearly, unambiguously and in writing accept what the UN demanded in 1947, the right of a Jewish State (mentioned 22 times in the UN resolution) to exist. Do this, and all else is details. Do not do this, and no PA state. As to your proposal, you seem to be trying to sweeten the 2000 Clinton Plan Arafat rejected. Intifada terrorism did not get you a better deal. That deal is dead, as is Oslo (killed by Hamas bombers) and the 1947 partition, killed by invading Israel. Here`s the best deal you are going to see (Olmert`s most recent): 1) 64% of W.Bank, plus Gaza; no "safe passage" across Israel, and everything on hold until Hamas is removed; 2) No PA army whatsoever, town police with pistols only (like any US city); NO so-called "refugees" to Israel, they go to the PA state only; 4) No redivision of Jerusalem, PA capital is in Abu Dis. Take it while you can. No reward for terrorism. Look what its gotten you so far! |
