| Here in NY other then the ultra orthodox Jews who wear the traditional garbs you would not be able to distinguish a Jew from a Christian. Most Jews are very well adjusted to the western life style. However it is very easy to point out the Muslims not only from the women covered by the Hijab but also with their behavior that does not fit the western life style. For example in 2007 Germany experienced many murders and attempted murders in the Islamic communities (many of them Turks) which were honor killings. There are many caricatures in the Islamic press almost daily denigrating Judaism and we do not see any out of proportion reaction to them and yet we all remember what happened after Jylland Posten published the infamous cartoons. |
