| You on this forum who are talking about russia selling arms to nefarious regiemes are of course quite correct. However, Israel is in NO position to provoke the rising might of Russia. Some of Russias weapon systems might be old and obsolete. That is true. However, Russia is and has been in space (hint: a certain dangerous tech), and is re-arming its armouries with astounding speed these days. Weapon dev in Russia is recieving a lot of funding these days.That is besides the point though. If you change the rules and sell ADVANCED millitary grade materials to Russias political enemies, they WILL retaliate, and they ALWAYS do so ( Just look at how they use gas against the EU, and consider the fact that Israel is less important an economic parter to russia than the EU). If now, Russia considers you to have changed the game, they might indeed start selling ADVANCED (and I mean much more advanced than those sold to Syria) weapon systems and platforms to your enemies just for the sake of spite |
