| My wife`s family celebrates the jahrzeit of the Noam Elemelech, one of the founders of Chassidus and my wife`s ancestor. One never celebrates the birthday of someone who has died, one celebrates the jahrzeit. This is what is so creepy about celebrating the 106 birthday of Rabbi Schneersohn.
