| It isn`t Israeli territory, and so Israel wouldn`t be CEDING it to Syria. You don`t CEDE territory to a state that already has sovereignty over that territory. Which is Syria, not Israel. Israel is the occupying power, so what Olmert may (or may not) be offering is to WITHDRAW the IDF from this occupied Syrian territory in exchange for a peace treaty. You zionists are so very good at self-delusion, aren`t you? You really have convinced yourselves that you are giving *up* the Golan, and not giving *back* the Golan. You Are All Deluding Yourselves. Assad has Olmert over a barrel, because no matter how long the IDF sits its Big Fat Arse on the Golan it will never, ever be Israeli territory, and so the only use Israel has for that territory is as a bargaining chip. So drive your bargain, Israel, but stop pretending that you can ever make this territory your own. You can`t. |
