Title:Predictable as Israel nears attacking Iran

I saw this coming and while Syria has been known to always look out for Syria first and last - or put more accurately, looks out for the regime in Syria first and last - this news should not surprise anyone. The only thing one needs to come away with after reading this article is how terrified Israel is of Iran. I have been waiting for the final act to drop before war with Iran commences and I think we have it. I have always said if you want to know when Israel will attack Iran, look for peace overtures towards Syria as the greatest indicator war is imminent. Will Assad Jr do what Assad Sr did when Bush Sr tangled Lebanon before him to get his support in attacking Iraq? Now Syria has a choice to make - really getting interesting because I don`t think it`s enough for Syria get the Golan. In fact, I don`t think Syria( the regime) cares about the Golan - or else why no single shot fired in 40 years to liberate it? I think Syria would demand the deal Assad Sr got, the return of Lebanon. Many ironies here, God giveth and God taketh away and who is to say Syria wasn`t pushed out of Lebanon in order to use it once again as a bargaining chip. We shall see but my guess is this news is a bad omen for Lebanon. It wouldn`t surprise me to see efforts to destabilize Lebanon go into high gear by American and Israel to create the scenario for the return of Syrian troops to "keep the peace". It`s dejavu all over again.
