| Not so fast, Assad. Like Rabin said, the depth of return will be equal to the depth of the peace. Syria wants all of the Golan? No prob - all they have to do is give us FULL peace: -open borders -not just a complete cessation of incitement against Israel, but they have to teach their kids that peace with Israel is their goal -no armed militias anywhere near the Golan and that means bye bye Hezbollah - no proxy armies to attack us either -full trade relations -full diplomatic relations -full sports relations everywhere.... Syrian athletes will compete against Israeli athletes everywhere and everywhere and will shake hands afterwards according to international rules -restoration of confiscated Jewish property in Syria and compensation for Jews killed in racist attacks - especially the Aleppo riots, the Jewish schools seized and handed over to Muslims, etc etc etc Somehow, I doubt that Syria is ready for true peace, but we`ll have to wait and see... - |
