| To describe Iran`s nuclear program in such a belittling fashion is self- deluding. Iran is the greatest danger we are facing today. This is the opinion of almost all of those expert in Israeli security matters, who truly care for Israel. Iran is also a controlling force now in Gaza and with Hizbollah. But Iran is dangerous first and above all because it has the strategic goal of Israel`s destruction, and is working very hard on practical means to achieve this. I understand Mr. Burston your desire for peace. I and I believe almost all the Israelis I know share it. But it is not in the cards given the present realities. We have to face this and work for it in the long- term while doing everything we can now to prevent the real threats , first of which is an Iranian nuclear attack on Israel - directly or through surrogates- from being realized. |
