| "[T]o ask secular people to stop denigrating the ultra-Orthodox is like asking battered women to show tolerance toward their aggressive husbands." What a great line! And it applies just as strongly to the secular here in America and their attitude towards the religious right. They castigate secularists, agnostics, and atheists in just a vile terms. And they have the gall to demand we respect them. I think not. |
