| Those that have been writing hundreds of posts saying how Hamas has evolved, how Hamas agrees to have Abbas negotiate with Israel, how Hamas is a national liberation movement that simply wants freedom for its people---all of these people are incapable of understanding the simple fact that Hamas is a radical Islamist group. The ideology of Hamas is rooted exclusively in Islam. Hamas considers all of "Palestine" as part of Islamic holy land, and their aim is to liberate all of this land through Jihad. Hamas will never accept any deal which it considers contrary to its Islamic ideology. The real power behind Hamas is radical Shia Iran. Without the quantities and qualities of weapons and training supplied by Iran, Hamas would be a local terror group. However, with Iran`s backing, it is part of a Shia crescent encircling Israel, with the aim of destroying her. |
