The nuclear option can only be used as a last resort and even then as we saw with North Korea it is not a resort that can be used.
The hope must be that the 100 tons of enriched uranium delivered to iran by the Russians and supported by the American admimistration will convince the Iranians that they can have a civil nuclear power programme but that Russia will provide the fuel and take away the spent fuel rods and thereby convincing the Iranians they do not need a capability to enrich uranium is the only realisitic option.
Anything else is semantics and wishful thinking. |
