| Obviously Israel wants to get Gilad back and she has expended effort through different avenues while really not knowing if he is dead or alive...and she will continue to do so. Hamas has watched convergence disappear, settlements increase at a faster rate, gaza disintegrate, hundreds of people die, legislators imprisoned, the population wallowing in despair and choking on sand.....all for the sake of One person. What kind of exchange can hamas make that could make any of this worthwhile? How can hamas justify the self-inflicted pain and suffering caused by holding on to One man. A remarkable miscalculation or just another in a long history of never missing an opportunity to miss an opportunity. Almost all of the WB would be in Arab hands for the past 2 years and a state would be about up and running. Instead hamas has the "glory" of holding One man. |
