| What do the citizens in the West know about Islam and the cultures of the East and Middle East? And do they WANT to know? But historic, knee jerk prejudice and hostility toward Jews is commonplace. When it comes to Hasbara the Israeli leadership has long ago capitulated to the futility of it all and a now self-serving zionist ideology which believes Israel has already solved antisemitism, or is in the process of doing so. It is only the West`s fear and suspicion of the Islam they don`t understand which is keeping Israel in the game, that and those in the West who feel positive toward the Jewish presence in the world. |
