| If Israeli construction bothers the Palestinians, why is there no rush for them to make peace? Why? because the Palestinian and Western conceptions of peace are completely different. Peace to the West means a Jewish-majority state and a Palestinian-majority state. Most israelis agree to that. They just want an acceptable deal.Peace to the Palestinians,whether one state or 2 states, means NO JEWISH-MAJORITY STATE. If people in the West want a mideast peace deal, they should stop focusing on Israel agreeing to a GENUINE peace deal and start focusing on the Palestinians to agree to it. They will find out where the true problem is. |
