| It used to be that Jews were the vanguards of western, liberal, progressive and inherently left-wing agendas. Today, we hear more and more of a growing Jewish influence on far right (and in some cases, even fascist) agendas, against which Jews had previously fought (and with good reason). This is a troubling trend indeed because it pits Jews against the mainstream and it slowly turns Judaism into a fringe movement whose only concern, it seems, is Israel. |
