Since many woman also yell at, demean, and limit the freedom of their male or female partners, this study clearly supports the emerging view that both men and women can act as the violent party in Domestic Partner Violence incidents, in equal proportions. Therefore, first one must salute this long-awaited satori in the gender-biased thinking that has long characterized the field of feminist studies (womyn = gooood, men = baaad); second, one must demand from the state that equal resources be allocated to the need of the victimized partners of violent women, be they men or women.
